Want to join our incredible team of volunteers?

We believe you look most like Jesus when you serve! One of the best ways to both connect to Restoration Church and grow as a child of God it to serve on Sundays on one of our ministry teams: Restoration Kids, First Impressions, Worship Team, Production Team, and Prayer Team.

First Impressions

Our First Impressions Team exists to put the gospel on display for both our members and our guests. From the moment you pull into the parking lot we want you to feel and see the love of Jesus through the way we serve.

Our First Impressions Teams consist of the Parking Team, Connectors, First Time Guest team, Auditorium Team (Seaters/Ushers).

Restoration Kids

In Restoration Kids, our desire is to make the Word of God come to life to the children who walk through our doors. We do this by pointing kids to Christ through gospel-centered lessons and activities. Our prayer for our children is that they grow to love God, live life on mission, and exist for the good of the city and world.

Worship & Production

We believe participation in the Sunday worship gathering is both a command (Hebrews 10:24-25, Psalm 100) and a practice modeled by the early church (Acts 2:42-47). Likewise, the Lord has given each of us a unique gift that is intended to be used to serve one another in the church (1 Peter 4:10-11, Romans 12:6-8). Therefore, if you have been blessed with the passion and gifting in the area of worship we want to help you use your gift for the glory of God.

Prayer Team

Growing relationships depend on genuine, honest, and heartfelt communication and conversation. Without these things it is hard to have a healthy relationship. Therefore, our desire is to have genuine, honest, and heartfelt conversation with God that will draw us into a deeper, more intimate relationship with both Him and one another.

Our Prayer Team meets every Sunday morning at 9:10am. After a devotion or scripture reading we begin to pray for the needs of the week, our leaders, our people, social issues around us, the worship gathering, and for those who do not know Jesus. After each gathering, some of the Prayer Team members are available at the front of the auditorium to pray with those in need.

As we look to God’s Word it becomes evident that we serve a God who has first served us. Jesus tells his disciples, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). As the disciples sought their own glory, Jesus called them to the service of others. As a church that exists for the glory of God and the good of the city and world, we believe serving in word and deed is essential to our existence as a church and the restoration of our city.
Dream Center
The mission of Dream Center is to help the local church reach their communities. We provide consistent opportunities for outreach and evangelism. This is an easy way to help the church “get out of their seats” and engage with a community through serving and building transformational relationships through the power of Jesus Christ.

Adopt-A-Block: Every 2nd & 4th Saturdays at 10:00 am

The goal of Adopt-A-Block is to be present in communities, seeking those hurt and broken by difficult circumstances and building transformational relationships by providing groceries for households, picking up trash, playing with kids and having intentional gospel conversations.

Mercy for America’s Children
The mission of “M.A.C.” is to advocate for children awaiting adoption in the US Foster Care System by educating the public about the benefits of foster care adoption, reforming the adoption process, connecting waiting children to potential adoptive families and supporting them through their adoption journey.

Although there are several opportunities to serve within this ministry, one of the primary ways we can serve is through Respite Care. Respite Care is short-term child care services that offer temporary relief for families in need. Services can be planned or offered during an emergency for a time of crisis.

If you are passionate about kids awaiting adoption and/or families who are fostering/adopting and want to know more about this opportunity, please complete the form below. We will be in touch with you soon!

For The City

The mission of For The City is to come together as the body of Christ in order to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our community. As we serve and minister to those in our community, our prayer is that they will encounter Jesus through His church. Please email Trevor Forbis, the Minister of Local Outreach, for next steps to serve.

Local Schools

One of the ways we seek to be a blessing to our city is through serving our local schools. As a church that meets in Wake Forest Elementary School, it is important to us to serve them, and others, well. We believe God has placed us here so that we can have a positive impact on the schools in our area by serving the faculty, staff, and students.

If you are interested in serving our school, please email Trevor Forbis.
